“So I was like totally just surfing around at the shop the other day and Like, OH my gawd I found the perfect thing. . ”

“…”

“Yah, no, I didn’t find the right tips for the jammy aluminum spool gun but I *did* find the electric nibbler that I completely thought I lost. . .”

“Oh Yah so anyway like I was all like OH my GOD, HEATHER, PINK TOOL BELTS!

“!”

“Yah! Pink!! And I mean, when I say ‘Pink’ I really mean, like, ‘Pinque’. They are so pink you can’t spell it with a ‘k’.”

“. . .”

“NO I don’t know why there aren’t outlets that sell them in San Francisco!”

“!?”

    Girls are weird.

Reminded me of the 23 Piece Pink Mini Tool Kit and Pink 18 Piece Tool Kit with Metal Case from Jaycar.

    And, only slightly patronising!

“These are good quality tools with rubberised grips to protect the most delicate hands!”

Awesome! I got my hopes up when it mentioned a torch as part of the kit, the I realized they were British, and the set didn’t come with its own oxyacetylene rig. . .

Pink tools are more practical than most people think. Yeah people get patronising, sure, but one thing I have found is that if you tools are all pink, any “guy” type guy who borrows anything will return it almost immediately, if not faster. AND they’ll go out of their way to not have to borrow any in the first place. . .
