UPDATE: Okay I thought I was done marvelling about the sheer, unadulterated servo-shredding action this little robot has, but I am not. You simply must watch this video, and when we here in the Bunker figure out how to stream it we will do so. This is what everyone thinks of when we think of a kung-fu robot. This machine is so advanced for a bipedal walking robot that most people will stare at it and say “Cool! So what?”. THAT is how advanced this thing is.

I want this robot to show up at Robogames just so I can personally take pleasure in watching it wipe the walls with the in-house Hurosot Soccer Team. FIRA, you have been warned.

UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: Hmmm. It seems that the U.S Representative to the Federation International Robosoccer Association (FIRA!) has taken umbrage to the wholesale denigration of his precious widdle Human Robot Soccer Team.

He has named a challenge: Robonova soccer, boys vs. girls in a suitably social-beverage-soaked envirionment. Best two out of three games wins. Games will be played in and around the SF Bay area, whenever we get a critical mass of players.

Mr. Robotics adds: “Best of the three gets the right to play the other Int’l teams as Team USA in RoboGames 2007. Losers are the battery charging crew for the winners.”
